I do not want Quantvesting to become another dashboard where every available number gets a box on the screen. Every feature should have a job. If it does not make the research process clearer, I would rather not build it.

The first job is to make the portfolio visible. My Portfolio brings holdings together at the security level so you can see where your capital actually sits across accounts. It gives you the basic context: value, allocation, profit, target information and the evidence available to the framework.

The second job is to decide what deserves attention. Review Areas is deliberately different from a buy or sell list. It surfaces situations that meet the framework's configured review conditions so that you can investigate them. The idea is to reduce the amount of research you need to do, not to outsource the decision.

The third job is to look beyond what you already own. The Opportunity Universe starts with a defined set of securities and ranks them for research. This gives you a consistent playing field instead of an endless search for the next interesting stock.

There is also an education layer. A number by itself is not very useful if you do not know what it means. So the experience should move from finding something to explaining it, giving enough education to understand it, and then suggesting what is worth investigating next.

The pieces fit together because they answer different questions. Where do I stand? What deserves my attention? What else is worth researching? What does the finding actually mean?

That is what I want Quantvesting to do. Not remove thinking from investing, but make the thinking more focused.

The current product path

The web app now makes those jobs visible as one journey. My Portfolio shows the shape of capital and the holdings. Review Areas surfaces what deserves attention. Opportunity Universe shows what else exists in the defined research field. From either holdings or opportunities, a Research → action carries the user into the same guided Research Path.

The Research Path is deliberately progressive: Business → Fundamentals → Valuation → Technicals → My View. The external sites are windows into evidence; Quantvesting is there to structure the questions.
